1. General provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy (the «Policy») sets out what personal data is processed when the website of the international forum «Central Asia Fintech & Digital Forum Tajikistan» (CAFDF Tajikistan 2026) (the «Website») is used, for what purposes and on what grounds, how long it is kept, and how a visitor can exercise their rights.

1.2. The Policy has been prepared in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on personal data and, as regards visitors located in other jurisdictions, takes into account the requirements applicable to the Organiser to the extent that they apply.

1.3. By using the Website and submitting its forms, the visitor confirms that they have read the Policy. The forms can be submitted only after the visitor has ticked the consent to personal data processing.

2.1. The controller is the organiser of the forum (the «Organiser»): [full legal name of the entity or name of the sole proprietor], registration number [number], address: [registered address].

2.2. Contact for personal data matters: Marketing@uz.cafdf.org.

3. What data is processed

3.1. Data that the visitor provides when submitting the «Become a sponsor» and «Become a speaker» forms:

  • first and last name;
  • company name and job title;
  • email address and phone number;
  • the selected partnership package or the talk topic;
  • the free-text message written by the visitor;
  • the consent mark, the date and time of submission, and the page language (Russian or English).

3.2. Technical data transmitted automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, the requested page address, and the date and time of the request. It is recorded in server logs and is needed to operate and protect the Website.

3.3. Data processed when third-party services embedded in the Website are used (fonts and icons, Google Maps, YouTube video, Jivo online chat if enabled). The list of services is given in the Cookie Policy. These services receive the visitor’s technical data (for example, the IP address) in accordance with their own rules.

3.4. The Organiser does not request or process special categories of personal data (health, political views, religious beliefs, biometric data) and asks visitors not to include them in messages.

4. Purposes of processing

4.1. Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • reviewing and answering applications for sponsorship, partnership and speaking at the forum;
  • communicating with the applicant about participation, payment, the programme, accreditation and forum logistics;
  • concluding and performing participation agreements and partnership agreements;
  • answering enquiries received through the Website or to the email address shown on it;
  • ensuring the security and stable operation of the Website and preventing abuse and spam;
  • complying with legal requirements.

4.2. The data is not used for marketing mailings without the visitor’s separate consent, is not used to take decisions with legal effect solely on the basis of automated processing, and is not sold to third parties.

5. Legal grounds

5.1. Processing is carried out on the basis of: (a) the visitor’s consent expressed by ticking the box in the form; (b) the need to take steps before concluding a contract and to perform a contract to which the visitor or their employer is a party; (c) the Organiser’s legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure; (d) legal requirements.

6. Disclosure to third parties

6.1. The Organiser may disclose data only:

  • to technical service providers that keep the Website and communication with visitors running (hosting, email, online chat), under contracts and to the extent needed to provide the service;
  • to partners and the venue of the forum, to the extent needed for accreditation and running the event, if the visitor has become a participant;
  • to public authorities where the law expressly requires it.

6.2. Servers and services used by the Organiser may be located outside the Republic of Tajikistan. Data is transferred abroad provided that it is protected at the level required by applicable law [state the country where the website and email are hosted].

7. Retention periods

7.1. Applications and correspondence are kept no longer than needed for the purposes of processing, and in any case no longer than [period, for example 3 years] after the end of the forum or the last interaction, unless a longer period is set by law or contract.

7.2. Technical server logs are kept no longer than [period, for example 12 months].

7.3. When the period expires, the data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Security measures

8.1. The Organiser applies technical and organisational security measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), separation of access rights to the administrative part of the Website, password protection of accounts, regular software updates, restricting the number of staff with access to applications, and a confidentiality obligation for those staff.

9. Visitor rights

9.1. The visitor has the right to: obtain information about which of their data is processed; request correction, blocking or deletion of data that is incomplete, outdated, unlawfully obtained or not needed for the stated purposes; withdraw consent to processing; object to processing; and complain about the Organiser’s actions to the competent public authority or a court.

9.2. To exercise these rights, send a request to Marketing@uz.cafdf.org stating your name, the email address used in the application and the substance of the request. The Organiser will respond within the period set by law and in any case no later than [period, for example 30 days].

9.3. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. After withdrawal the Organiser stops processing, except where continued processing is required by law or to perform a concluded contract.

10. Cookies

10.1. Information about cookies and third-party services is given in the Cookie Policy.

11. Minors

11.1. The Website and the forum are aimed at a professional audience. The Organiser does not knowingly collect data of persons under 18. If such data is received, it will be deleted once discovered.
